Frequently Asked Questions

How are research and evaluation skills developed across the course?

Assignments are designed around analysis of studies, comparison of research methods, and evaluation of evidence, with tutor feedback aligned to Cambridge criteria to build higher‑level judgement and application.

Can schools tailor specialist option topics at A Level?

Yes. Schools can select from Cambridge‑defined specialist options for Papers 3 and 4, allowing alignment with curriculum priorities while maintaining full compliance with syllabus and assessment requirements.

Are examination fees included in the course fee?

No. Examination fees are not included in the course fee. Your school will need to register students for their examinations following your usual exam registration process.

How is the course taught?

Students study through structured online modules containing learning materials, activities, quizzes and assignments. They work independently while receiving ongoing support from their teacher and their school.

How quickly do teachers respond to questions?

Students can contact their teacher through the online learning platform whenever they need academic support. Messages are replied to within 48 hours (excluding weekends), and assignments and mock papers are marked within five days.

Will students keep the same teacher throughout the course?

Yes — teachers support the student for the full duration of the course, so students benefit from a consistent relationship with someone who knows their work. Very occasionally a teacher change is unavoidable, in which case we ensure a smooth handover.

What optional extra support is available?

Schools can add Optional Additional Services, which include a one-to-one session and group sessions between the student and their teacher for each module of the course. The number of meetings  depends on the number of modules in the chosen course and the size of the session depends on how many students you have taking the course for whom these sessions have been included. Speak to our team for current pricing.

When can students enrol?

Students can enrol at any time during the year. If a student is taking an examination course, we recommend speaking with us before enrolling so we can help you choose the most appropriate start date.
